(with thanks to Selina Lock): It's still ages away but the dates are set for 24 Hour Comics Day in Dublin. This year's event will take place on 17th - 18th October at the Central Hotel.The event is an international celebration of comics creation. Cartoonists from all over the globe are invited to take the challenge of trying to create a 24 page comic story in 24 straight hours. Many gather at special events in comic book shops, schools, and other locations.
"We're expanding to two function rooms this year and including some smaller comic related activities," says co-organiser Cliodhna Lyons, "but there will be more info on them closer to
the event.
"Right now we're looking for people to spread the word for a comic anthology we're printing in relation to the event."
