Being a huge 2000AD fan and collector of its artwork, Pete Wells gets a thrill from seeing covers and artwork for the comic in their original state. Back in early July, he announced he'd decided to write a blog where he can upload as many logoless covers as he can get his hands on so fans can see the artists' original visions without all other gubbins - the masthead, barcode box, cover lines etc. - cluttering up the page.
One month on, there's some fabulous stuff on the site, including this unused Judge Dredd cover by Frank Milller and the story behind it, too.
Pete's also uploaded work in progress and uncoloured stuff too. Check the blog out at: 2000adcovers.blogspot.com
