With all the media attention for the launch of Halo 3 a spoof cover of a Halo game, which seems to have kicked off around the 'net in 2004 with the launch of Halo 2, has re-surfaced.
Promotional copy appearing on the image reads: "2000 years ago, you tried to be nice to them. They nailed you to a wooden cross. Now you're back... and it's payback time..."
As you can imagine, the image annoyed a few people who couldn't see the funny side, while others pointed out that the hero's weapons of choice are totally wrong.
So now it seems the Spoof Game Covers Marketing Deaprtment has assessed this problem, and we're delighted to reporduce a new version below.
Of course, we're not sure that's going to do down very well in some circles either. Chill, righteous dudes - and always look on the bright side of life!
