One Month To Hi-Ex

With one month to go to the Hi-Ex comics convention in Inverness details of what will be happening over the course of the weekend are being released.

One of the most popular events last year was the charity auction with over £600 being raised for Children 1st, the Scottish equivalent of the NSPCC. Items already received by the convention for auction this year include role playing game books, comics signed by Leah Moore and John Reppion and original artwork by Charlie Adlard, Simon Coleby and Graeme Neil Reid.

The piece that Graeme Neil Reid has donated features the Bash Street Kids and was used here on downthetubes as part of our Beano 70th anniversary feature.

Anyone wishing to bid on any of these items but who cannot make it to Inverness can get in touch with Hi-Ex organisers Rich Clements and Vicky Stonebridge via the Hi-Ex website who will let them know how to bid remotely.

The details of the items in the Hi-Ex charity auction are available here.
